Autism Access Service

Main information

Type of service: Family support and information services

A new autism service has been set up by Signpost and NHS Lothian. The Autism Access Service offers support, information and advice to families following a diagnosis of autism in West Lothian.
This is a new service to support families with children up to the age of 8 years after diagnosis.

We aim to: provide a single point of contact for support and advice from Community Children's Nurse and Signpost; provide a structure for giving advice and knowledge in relation to autism spectrum disorders; facilitate referrals to other agencies/services; and offer specialist autism information and advice in relation to behaviour, sensory and communication issues. It takes place at the Beatlie School Campus on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Please call for more information or to book an appointment.
