The Autism Co-ordinator can: provide information explaining your child's diagnosis and recommend further reading or useful websites that may be of help; signpost support groups where parents can get together and talk to other parents with children with a diagnosis of ASD; provide information about leisure activities and clubs for children with autism and other disabilities; signpost services that may be able to help with the specific needs of your child; provide information on training opportunities to help you understand and manage your child's behaviours; keep you informed of local events; provide information and liaise with existing and new services in the area.
