Type of service: Online services

Autism Data is a database providing information on published research, articles, books and multimedia on autism. The contents include bibliographic records of all the items in The National Autistic Society Information Centre Library, together with the details of research articles on autism published in journals which are not part of our holdings. It contains over 21,000 records, searchable by author, title, keyword and year of publication. Each entry gives full details needed for ordering the item from book suppliers or libraries, and an abstract or summary. Over 6,300 of the articles and book chapters on the database are available from The National Autistic Society Information Centre, subject to copyright restrictions. If you have any difficulty using Autism Data online, you can always request a literature search from the NAS Information Centre.
