The service provides support in Yorkshire to people who have autism, learning disabilities and mental health diagnoses. The services include: Activity choices - a range of activities from independent living training to creative activities such as drama and making music. Activity Choices is based in Sheffield and Thorne; Independent living - support for anyone living in their own home and who like support in accessing the local community; Residential services - residential facilities in a range of flats and group homes in Doncaster and Scarborough; Respite services - short break service in Doncaster; Supported living - help with everyday tasks in and out of the home as well as trips, holidays and support to pursue their interests; Training and employment services - help to understand the world of work and what skills they will require, supporting some to take on voluntary work, for others supporting them in to paid employment; Access fitness - the United Kingdom's (UK's) first specialist disability and mental health focused gym located at the Wellness Centre at the Concord Sports Centre in Sheffield; and Pea Pods kids club - short break service in Sheffield for children with disabilities. The Pea Pods group involves activities such as growing vegetables, researching wildlife and the environment, drama, arts and craft. This is a Social Enterprise businesses - a range of businesses providing work experience and paid jobs.
