The Autism Spectrum Assessment Service is a screening, assessment and diagnosis service, offering short term follow up and signposting up to a maximum of 12 weeks. It is for adults who do not have a learning disability but are experiencing symptoms and difficulties suggestive of an autism spectrum condition (ASC). It is based at Lymebrook Mental Health Centre and will operate over 3 days to be agreed. New referrals for those not known to Mental Health Services are via the ACCESS team, internal referrals ie those from Community Mental Health Teams can be sent directly to Lymebrook..
