21 High Street is a 4 storey building in Cardiff city centre for the use of people aged 16 and over, who have a diagnosis of high functioning autism or Asperger syndrome. The team here offer focused 1:1 support and advice on housing, employment and benefits. They can also meet with you to discuss problem solving in a number of areas, as well as providing a variety of social opportunities throughout the month. You can also access independent advocacy through this service..
This service is delivered by the charity Autism Spectrum Connections Cymru (ASCC) and is often referred to as 21 High Street. All of their focused support and advice services are free of charge. The only cost to individuals is for social groups where there may be a charge for entertainment and or refreshments i.e. cinema trips. .
