Type of service: Local groups

We meet once a month for a few hours in the evening and host a coffee morning each month, term time only. The aim of the group is to give parents and carers an opportunity to share information and advice, offer and receive informal support and have the chance to meet with other parents outside of the group. We sometimes have speakers and professionals sharing updates and advice. We also talk about what we want for our children and young people and think about how we can set these opportunities up. They cater for parents and carers of children or adults with autism or social communication difficulties, with or without a diagnosis. They also have a closed Facebook page, plus a public Instagram, Facebook and Twitter account.
