Barnardo's Disability and Inclusion Service (DAIS) runs a range of short break services across the North East for children and young people 0-25. We provide workers who can either provide support in the family home or in the community (outreach). In some areas we are contracted by Local Authorities to deliver these services but we have families who also buy services from us maybe using Direct Payments or Individual Budgets. We also run holiday schemes in Darlington and North Tyneside.
