Main information
Type of service: Parent partnerships, Parent partnerships
The SEND Partnership Service (SPS) provides the free confidential impartial SEND Information, Advice and Support Service for Bath & North East Somerset about matters relating to SEND. This includes health and social care. SPS is provided in-house by Bath & North East Somerset Council and operates at arms-length from the local authority. The service is available to children and young people (0-25) with SEND and their parent carers who live in Bath & North East Somerset. The child or young person does not need to have a statement of SEN or an Education, Health and Care Plan in order to access our service. We also offer impartial and confidential advice and support to all parent carers whose child or young person has been excluded from school whether the child or young person has SEND or not. Please see www.bathnes.gov.uk/sps for more information on how we can support you. .
