Michelle Baynham has experience working with children with Autism. She has worked independently for 3 years, with a previous 6 years experience working the NHS and private residential schools. She has completed training in PECS, eating and feeding difficulties in children, selective mutism and emotional and behavioural difficulties. Assessments are based on the child's ability and age and can include a range of formal and informal tools. Standard assessments used include the CELF 3 - uk (receptive and expressive language skills), BPVS (vocabulary understanding), pragmatics profile, RAPT (expressive language), RWF (word finding) and STAP (speech). The assessment leads to an initial report which outlines a child's abilities and recommendations. Michelle Baynham can provide independent expert reports, attend tribunals/education appeal committees and is prepared to make home visits or visit a client's nursery, school or college.
