Some pupils with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are educated in mainstream classes. If their statement indicates additional support this is provided. Pupils with a moderate learning disability (MLD) and ASD are placed within the special educational needs (SEN) unit. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils.
