Beanfield Primary School

Beanfield is a mainstream primary school with a Designated Special Provision for autism spectrum disorder (ASD), moderate learning disabilities (MLD), severe learning disabilities (SLD) and profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). There are currently three classes. Children are grouped according to their age. We have a positive inclusion ethos. When and where appropriate pupils are provided with opportunities to integrate with mainstream peers. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils if they can provide a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). Another intervention, approach & programme offered by the school is signalong sign language.
