Blakeney provides accommodation for individuals with learning disabilities and complex learning and/ or physical disabilities. The accommodation at Blakeney House consists of 10 en-suite bedrooms. There is access to the upper floors via stairs or a lift. All communal areas have sensory equipment, computers and aids to develop literacy and numerical skills. The property is surrounded by mature gardens which are often used for outdoor activities. Blakeney is located in an attractive residential area of Leigh-on-Sea and is within easy reach of local amenities. The service has its own transport to take individuals on day trips and visits, enabling them to actively engage in the local and wider community as much or as little as they wish. Individuals using the service enjoy a range of volunteer work opportunities and are also supported to seek full time employment in the local area.
