Main information

Type of service: Day schools, Schools

The school is an area special school catering for a wide range of special needs. There was, in years gone by, an autism unit in school which was closed. However, a number of pupils with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) remain in the school but we are not a designated autism provision. There is some expertise within the school and approximately 20 pupils who may be considered to have an ASD. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils.
