The special class for autism has been renamed as Class1 The Ark. It currently caters for 12 children with a diagnosis of autism and a Statement of Special Educational Needs. The mainstream school is an enhanced resource and can cater for up to 3 children in each mainstream class who have autism or other difficulties associated with communication. They also need a Statement of Special Educational Needs.
