Bracknell Forest Information, Advice & Support Service provides confidential and impartial advice and information to support parents and carers of children and young people who have, or may have special educational needs and disability (SEND) in Bracknell Forest. What we provide: See following for the types of support we can give you: confidential helpline (telephone and email); general information on SEND; help for parents and carers to express their views; help to complete forms and help to understand complex documents and reports; home visits and support at meetings; presentations to support groups; signposting to other relevant voluntary groups. We offer additional support for families transferring from a Statement of SEN to an Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP) or starting the EHCP process for the first time. In partnership with Adviza, Independent Supporters are available to provide free and confidential assistance to you during the process. Who is eligible?: Parents and carers of children and young people who have, or may have special educational needs or disability in Bracknell Forest. They do not have to have a statement of SEND or Education, Health & Care Plan to use this service. Do I have to pay?: No, the parent partnership service is a free service. Contact us: This is a self-referral service so parents and carers can contact us directly, you do not have to be referred by other organisations or professionals.
