Brent Parent Partnership Service offers independent information, advice, and support to the parents and carers of children who have, or who may have, special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This includes children who receive the SEN Support programme at school or have a statement of special educational needs (SEN) or an Education Health and Care plan. The service is free and is offered to parents and carers of children and young people aged from 0 up to the age of 25. Some children experience learning difficulties at some stage of their school life. Parent Partnership Services are designed to ensure that parents and carers of children with SEND have access to up-to-date information, advice and guidance on SEND matters to allow them to make informed decisions about their child's education. Brent Parent Partnership (BPP): Set up in 2001, BPP receives between 200 and 300 new referrals every year. Our aim is to empower parents and families of children with SEN to have the confidence and ability to take an active and informed role in their child's education. All information shared with us is treated as confidential and is only shared with others with your permission.
