Broadfields Primary School is a 3 form entry primary school. The autism spectrum condition (ASC) Resourced Provision caters for 21 children with a diagnosis of an ASC. It has 3 class bases within the resourced provision with a high ratio of specialist staff. Each child is also a member of a mainstream class and is included within their mainstream class with support from the ASC Resourced Provision staff for a range of curriculum areas and opportunities depending on the individual's needs. We use the social communication/emotional regulation/transactional support (SCERTS) model and incorporate a range of autism specific strategies to support the children's learning and development. Volunteers are warmly welcomed and must be Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked.
