Dr Sarah Brown is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist providing assessment, consultation and therapeutic interventions to children and families where there may be concerns about a child's development, behavioural/emotional difficultites or difficulties related to social communication. Sarah has experience of working with children with ASD, learning difficulties and/or physical differences. She currently works part-time in the NHS and part-time in private practice. .
Sarah is experienced and qualified in the use of Autism Specific diagnostic tools including the ADOS and 3Di. Sarah takes a person-centred approach to her work and makes use of systemic and attachment models, as well as CBT/mindfulness. Assessments include a focus on the child's strengths and needs, as well as how the whole family's strengths and skills may be best used in developing support strategies. .
