There is a resourced provision at Hopefield for pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who require access to mainstream provision and peer group. The pupils are included into their mainstream classes where appropriate, and receive speech and language therapy. The Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped Children (TEACCH) system is applied in the classroom.
