Bury Employment Support and Training (EST)
Main information
Type of service: Employment services
Bury EST is a supported employment agency run by Bury Council. We provide a service for Bury residents who find it difficult to find work or keep a job because of disability or disadvantage. We also offer advice, support and practical assistance to local and regional employers who want to diversify their workforce and offer equal opportunities. We aim to help you into employment using a range of different services. Bury EST has a drop in service for general advice and guidance and this takes place at our offices at Humphrey House every Tuesday afternoon from 1pm to 4 pm. Trained staff are on hand to point you to the most apppropriate service and can offer suggestions about finding suitable work and improving employability.
