Type of service: Play and leisure

Sports club for Badenoch & Strathspey for children and young people aged 5-25 years who have special needs/disabilities. The club is based in Aviemore but uses local clubs and facilities such as the climbing wall and ski slopes. We meet usually in Aviemore School Sports Hall, and on occasions in Grantown Craig MacLean Sports Centre. The meetings are always on the last Saturday of the month in the afternoons, (except in December). We do a different sport each month, and the draft programme for the beginning of 2014 includes January; Gymnastics. February; Dance. March; Trampolines and Golf; April; DSUK (ski-ing). May; Orienteering, (though this programme is to be confirmed).
