Cambridge Clinical Psychology use ADOS 2; ADI-R and a range of neuropsychological tests, clinical interviews and observation for assessment. The procedure is a clinical interview and sharing of a relevant assessment schedule as required and agreed by all involved. There is then an assessment feedback session and report. Diagnostic, Capacity and other assessments are all undertaken. Follow up interventions include ASD adapted cognitive behavioural therapy, behavioural therapy and family therapy (behavioural and/or systemic). They also provide support to parents in the form of training that gives suggested strategies to help manage every day life. .
This service is delivered by fifteen experienced Clinical Psychologists, including experts in both adult and child diagnosis and interventions. They offer extensive support to the individual, families and education services.
