Cambridgeshire SEN and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) (formerly Cambridgeshire Parent Partnership Service) offers: information, guidance and support for parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs (SEN); accurate, neutral information on rights, roles and responsibilities of parents and carers; information regarding children's rights; information regarding national and local voluntary organisations that offer support for parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs; support for parents and carers during school based and statutory assessment; access to language interpreters, signing interpreters and the translation of materials into other languages, Braille or on tape as and when requested; access to Independent Parental Support from local and national parent groups; information regarding independent mediation services; training and information presentations for schools, governors, Local Education Authorities (LEAs) and voluntary organisations.
