CAMHS Glasgow South and East Renfrewshire

Type of service: Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)
Covering the south and south west of Glasgow City and East Renfrewshire, this outpatient service is made up of four child and four adolescent multi-disciplinary teams. The community out-patient teams provide assessments and treatment plans for children and their families. Advice and consultation is offered to services within health and to other professional agencies working with children and their families. The child Community Teams work with children up to the age of 12 with a wide range of complex emotional and behavioural problems. The Adolescent Community Teams work with young people age between 12 and 18 years who are in need of professional assistance due to a mental health problem.
