Camp and Trek

Main information

Type of service: Holidays, Play and leisure

At Camp & Trek we like nothing better than to introduce young people to the rugged beauty of the Isle of Skye, allow them the opportunity to test themselves, find new strengths and skills, but most of all to simply enjoy the experience. We were established with the aim of working with a wide variety of young people, aged between 12-25 years. So far these have included those with learning disabilities, disadvantaged young people and young carers, who often miss out on so much while helping others. Our courses offer support and supervision from accredited instructors and our activities can range from abseiling to archery, camping, climbing, fishing, gorge scrambling, hill walking, kayaking, night navigation, orienteering, rafting, sailing, swimming and windsurfing. Groups may also embark on a combination of camping, sailing and exploration expeditions involving everything from navigation to ecology and cultural heritage. Volunteers are welcome.
