Type of service: Day services, Play and leisure

As a new business we are a traditional working farm offering a daycare service to adults with learning disabilites, based in mid Devon. We teach agricultural skills to our clients and do a variety of activities from growing vegetables, working with animals on the farm to arts and crafts. We have found our services and environment to be therapeutic and beneficial to people on the autism spectrum. As we are a new business, we have a blog documenting what we are doing in a diary style fashion www.knightfarm.wordpress.com and we also have a website www.knightfarm.co.uk We have experience in providing daycare for many years but have only recently set up our own business. We are looking for a few clients that wish to come on a weekly basis to us, but we are also arranging for homes to bring clients for one off 'seasonal' day trips. The day trips would be planned in advance with tasks suitable for the abilities of that group. This means we can offer a wider range of people the chance to visit a traditional working farm.
