The Carers Support Service (formerly Shropshire Carers) provides: an information line for all family carers; information on local support and help for carers to find their way around the system; links to specialist carers' workers for carers looking after adults with learning disabilities or mental health problems; local carer support groups; carers' packs and newsletters; access to the Basil Ajughton Trust that is aimed a adults with a learning disability; advice about money, benefits and respite; social events and training for carers; advice about carers assessments and information about equipment/aids.
