Cherrywood House in Weston Super Mare provides support for 14 people with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour. Our team works to encourage, support and promote independence for everyone living at Cherrywood, and we are passionate on building positive outcomes for everyone. Our approach to support: At Cherrywood House, everyone is involved in designing their own person-centred plan, which is created with staff support. These plans help individuals to make their own choices about the support they receive, which enables staff to provide the best possible care and service. We encourage and support people living at Cherrywood House to recognise and identify their goals and ambitions and decide how they would like to go about achieving them. Staff at Cherrywood House support people to gain greater independence through educational programmes or employment. The level of support is dependent on each individual's needs. We encourage everyone at Cherrywood House to get involved in many activities and we support them to live an active a life as possible.
