Students are educated in class for all academic subjects ie with other students. Some 1:1 provision and Learning Support Assistant (LSA) provision is made at a level appropriate to the student's needs. We do not have separate special courses for students with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). However, they do have a different programme including their 1:1 and LSA support. Chetham's is the largest specialist music school in the United Kingdom (UK). It is an international specialist music school with a large boarding component. It is part of the government's music and ballet scheme. Teacher/Pupil ratio: 1:1 for Instrumental and Support. 1:20 (max) class lessons.
