Type of service: Nursery and pre-schools

We are passionate about ensuring children of all capabilities have the same opportunities and our ethos is apparent throughout our nursery. We are fortunate to be situated in 3 acres of forestry which we use daily. We have large vegetable patches and fruit trees. Places are availabe for up to 90 children. If you would like to come and visit you are more than welcome at anytime.

We use schedules with our autistic children and also toilet training programmes and our staff team all use Makaton. We have weekly observations which are photographically linked to areas of development for the parents to see at anytime. We work closely with the family and have regular reviews. We set and follow IEP's to support our children's progress and have a close liaison with other special needs professionals such as speech and language therapists and the portage team. Due to us being a nursery we have helped and supported families through the diagnosis process. We have use of special sensory equipment for children who benefit from this.
