Childhood Communication Consultancy is a group of independent speech and language therapists who provide quality child centred assessments and therapy to resolve speech, language, social communication, play, listening, and literacy difficulties. We specialise in high functioning autism and Asperger syndrome, working jointly with a sensory integration OT, and running social skills groups. There is liaison between the Childhood Communication Consultancy and a network of multi-professionals to meet each child's unique needs from a holistic perspective. This includes difficulties in areas such as: sensory integration, auditory and visual processing, fine and gross motor skills, hand writing, concentration, and academic performance. We run regular joint screening clinics with a sensory integration trained Occupational therapist.

The service is able to make home visits, visit a client's nursery, school or college, provide independent expert reports, and attend tribunals/educational appeal committees.
