The Children's Law Centre opened in September 1997 and is founded on the principles laid down in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. We have a free advice and information service on children's legal issues and we also employ four solicitors and a barrister who provide advice in special educational needs (SEN). The Centre also operates an information and advice helpline for children and young people (0808 808 5678) about their rights and the laws which affect them. If you are a parents/carers or professional please contact the number below. The Centre also offers training on a range of issues such as special educational needs and autism.
