Children's Playlink

. Children's Playlink provide play/youth schemes for children
with additional needs. These enable young people aged from 4.5-18 years
with additional needs to access play opportunities they may find difficult to
access in mainstream groups. Schemes provide a valuable respite break for
parents/carers knowing their child is being cared for in a safe, fun environment.
Located at various different venues around South Gloucestershire with
facilities to cater for all needs and abilities. Visits from local
organisations such as fire engine visits, zoo handling sessions, swimming and
sports sessions. Children's Playlink also provide a buddy scheme for children
with additional needs. This support is provided through a grant from South
Gloucestershire Local Authority to offer children and young people with special
needs support to attend mainstream out of school clubs during the school
holidays. The additional staff are known as buddies. To find out more about
