Assessment procedure: Children are sen in a paediatric clinic for full developmental history and paediatric exam. They are referred to the child development team (of which the paediatrician is a member) for multi-disciplinary assessment.
Follow up service: Yes, parents are supported through assessment, diagnosis and intevention (eg Early Bird or school/nursing placement).
Multi-disciplinary assessment: Yes, professions involved: Clinical psychology, psychiatry, paediatrics, speech and language therapy, learning support, specialist teacher.
