Chopsticks is a community charity based in a purpose-built workshop and resource centre in Northallerton. It provides supported work for adults with disabilities. Its aims are to: provide work based activities for adults with a learning disability and/or physical disability; assist members, where appropriate, to move on into paid or supported employment through provision of work experience; provide meaningful work placements to long term unemployed people within the New Deal 18-24 and 25+ client groups; provide services to older people and the disabled to assist them to retain independence and to remain in their own home.
