A Speech and Language Therapist with experience of working with families with a child on the Autistic Spectrum. I work with groups of families who want to take part in More Than Words - The Hanen programme for parents of children on the Autistic Spectrum. More Than Words is a 12 week course which offers parents practical strategies and skills to help their child's communication and interaction. This is achieved through three goals: improved social skills; the ability to engage in back-and-forth interactions; improved understanding of language. I also work with individual families. Home visits and visits to a client's nursery or school are available. I belong to the professional bodies HCPC, RCSLT and ASLTIP.
