Clippens School provides co-educational non-denominational education for pupils aged 5-19 years who have a range of complex learning difficulties including sensory and physical impairments or autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). The school is organised into three departments: primary, secondary, and the Lismore unit for pupils who have ASD, significant learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. The unit is an integrated part of Clippens School. Pupils are supported within three classes, two for primary aged pupils and one with secondary aged pupils. Classes 5, 9, 11 and 12 focus on individualised behaviour management systems to reduce the barriers to learning and teaching.
