Pupils are educated in a state of the art environment which was purpose built in 2003. Ofsted have granted the school 'Outstanding' in the last 2 inspections. The school also operates an autism outreach service. All staff are highly skilled and are trained in a variety of approaches including Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped Children (TEACCH) and Social Communication, Emotional Regulation and Transactional Support (SCERTS). Staff are accredited to deliver EarlyBird and EarlyBird plus training and also deliver training in sensory integration and all aspects of approaches to educating pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils.
