The Community Aspergers Support Team (CAST) is a small pilot service working with people with Asperger syndrome living in Northumberland. The team is made up of 5 support workers supervised by a Nurse Consultant. The team works with people living in their own homes who have not done well in other Mental Health or Learning Disability Services. They work closely with community mental health services and with parents and carers.
