Type of service: Diagnostic services
Provides a diagnostic service for children aged 0 to 16 years (or 18 years if attending school). Multi-disciplinary assessments including: clinical psychology, paediatrics, psychiatry, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, educational psychology, genetics, and hearing and vision specialists. Includes co-morbidity diagnosis and therapeutic interventions. Referral to EarlyBird programmes if relevant, and advice given to education and social work departments.
Assessment procedure: Initial consultation to determine diagnostic work. Multidisciplinary assessments.
Follow up service: Medical co-ordination, co-morbidity diagnosis, therapeutic interventions.
