Type of service: Diagnostic services
A team of consultant paediatricians, specialist nurses and administrators who investigate, diagnose and help children with neurodevelopment disorders such as autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and muscular dystrophy.
Assessment procedure: DISCO and ADOS. Detailed history from parents, collection of reports from school, nursery, health visitor/ other involved professionals. Observation of child's play and interaction during clinic assessment.
Follow up service: Not routinely. Will offer clinic review if necessary. Multiagency drop in sessions for parents available termly.
Multi-disciplinary assessment: Yes.

Other specialisms: ADHD - management and medication, sleep disorders, anxiety, depression (unless she feels it needs the expertise of a child pychiatrist), epilepsy, developmental co-ordination disorder, Challenging behaviour, Learning disability
Registrations and professional qualifications: Paediatrician. MAHon (Oxon), MBBS, MRCP, FRCPCH.
