Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders Service (CNDS)

This is an outreach and day service for children and young people with complex neurodevelopmental disorders. The service provides a group intervention for early years children, as well as detailed diagnostic assessment and second opinion services, consultation and advice on management of children and young people. The service is based at Walkergate Park but provides outreach throughout the region and North Cumbria. CNDS referrals are accepted via Community CAMHS team or Community Paediatrician. CNDS also provides Blue Room Treatment for situation specific anxiety, phobia and fear in children with ASD and accepts referrals from across the UK for this service. The CNDS' multidisciplinary team includes:.

• Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
• Consultant Neurodisability Paediatrician
• Clinical Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists
• Occupational Therapists
• Speech and language Therapists
• Nurse Specialist in ASD
• Specialist ASD Teacher
• ASD Parent Support Advisor.
