Cottenham Village College is an inclusive 11-16 comprehensive school. Children are educated according to their needs, programmes are flexible and vary from student to student. Some autism spectrum disorder (ASD) students are full-time mainstream, others are part-time mainstream, and others are full-time Alternative Programmes. Programmes for individuals vary. The school uses the Structure, Positive (approaches and expectations), Empathy, Low arousal, Links (SPELL) framework for a few of its pupils.
