A service for autism assessment, diagnosis and support. My professional qualifications and training includes the Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO) - National Autistic Society (NAS) Lorna Wing Centre; the ADOS - Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule; the 3Di - the Developmental, Dimensional and Diagnostic Interview - the Institute of Child Health University College London (UCL); and Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy - The Tavistock Clinic London (full member of the Association of Child Psychotherapy). I have 25 years experience working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) and currently work in Hertfordshire CAMHS and in private practice. I offer a diagnostic service on The Isle of Wight. In addition to diagnostic assessments I work with children, young people, parents and families providing therapeutic and behavioural interventions for a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties. These include: anxiety, depression, relationship problems, social communication problems and social phobia, low self-esteem and bereavement. I work with parents to understand and manage children's challenging behaviour. The service also provides: provide independent expert reports, make home visits, visit a client's nursery school or college and attend tribunals/educational appeal committees..
