A specialised residential service in Huddersfield for adults who have learning disability and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties, including those who have been diagnosed on the autism spectrum or who may have Asperger syndrome. Cragside House cannot accommodate people who do not use stairs. The grounds of Cragside House provide lawned areas, a vegetable garden, a small orchard and secure areas where people can sit out and relax in privacy. People who live at Cragside are encouraged to take an active part in gardening and a large shed is available in the garden to store equipment, for potting or other related activities. The shed may also be used for woodwork or pottery etc, for those who choose a more artistic or creative activity.
