Bridgeway School is a day school for girls and boys aged 11-16 years who have behavioural, emotional, social and associated learning difficulties, which can hinder their academic progress. The school aims to provide a quality secondary curriculum to young people who need a more specialised environment in order to meet their potential academic and social development. Cumberland School offers a wide range of curriculum opportunities within an environment dedicated to building self-esteem and life skills. Special Educational Needs (SEN) catered for are Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD); Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASCs); Behavioural, Emotional & Social Difficulties; Moderate Learning Difficulties; Speech & Language Difficulties; and Oppositional Defiant Disorder.
