DASH (Discovering Autistic Spectrum Happiness) is an independent local charity whose mission is to improve the quality of life of adults of working age and families with Asperger syndrome and other high functioning autism spectrum conditions (ASCs) living in Swindon. DASH offer social groups, employment support & advice and interpersonal skills workshops. We have a young women's group, young people's activity group, men's Wednesday group, over 25s social group and an allotment group, an informal chat club and a women's project. In May 2013, DASH launched an Autism Information and Advice Service (IAS) with drop in sessions. The sessions are available to everyone of any age on the autism spectrum, their families, and those employing, working with or supporting people on the autism spectrum. The sessions take place as follows: Tuesdays 1.30pm to 4pm; but appointments can be made outside of this if needed. The IAS service is based at Sanford House - SAASC, Sanford Street, Swindon. The service also offers behavioural concerns, benefits and housing.
