The Developmental Intervention service is a specialist early years service offered to pre-school aged children who are on the autism spectrum or experiencing significant developmental delay. We offer: TEACCH programs; speech and language programs; Hanen speech and language programs; programs to develop gross and fine mother skills; programs to develop concentration skills; and specific training if required to meet your child's needs eg Makaton signing. Your child will either be referred by the paediatric social worker attached to these clinics or by your child's Health Visitor or Speech and Language Therapist.
