The primary purpose of the Disability Resource Exchange (DRE) is to provide an information service for disabled people, carers and for other interested parties such as students and professionals. The DRE is based in Crewe, but covers the South Cheshire area. The DRE offers a range of services including: disability helpline; access appraisals and full audits; disability awareness training; short term wheelchair loan service. The DRE is run entirely by disabled people and carers for the benefit of others in similar circumstances.
